This should be so much fun! I love to make accessories for my little girl, so last year I started my own monogrammed accessories business! I started making ribbon flip flops to match all of her cute summer clothes, and went crazy. Everywhere we went, people asked me where I bought her flip flops! Well, after about 10 different people asked, I finally decided to sell them! I bought a monogramming machine on ebay, ordered cute little business cards, and typed up an order form. I set up a booth at the hospital where my mom works, and donated 25% of my profit to The American Heart Association's Heart Walk. I sold so many flip flops and hairbows, I couldn't believe it! Next, a friend from my daughter's preschool offered to have a home party for me...what a success! Since then I have done several home parties, some fundraising for my daughter's elementary school, and even made my flip flops for a ladies' beach wedding! The keychains are a big hit for the Little League Baseball moms here in Lexington, so I am hoping to help them with some fundraising. Wish me luck!
